The mysterious Cheyenne Mountain Complex doesn’t just seem like the stuff of fiction — it’s been the subject of movies and TV shows for many years. Since it opened in 1966, imaginative depictions of this top secret station have been featured in everything from the Terminator series to Stargate SG-1.

After decades of being shrouded in secrecy, the Colorado Springs facility has finally been opened to the public eye. Thanks to exclusive images and film released by the U.S. Air Force, we’re finally able to tour of one of the most secretive military bases in the world.
