A south Texas English class has received “appropriate action” according to official at San Antonio’s Marshall high school.
The English class performed a skit portraying the assassination of Donald Trump. One student dressed as Trump was shot by another; they included gunfire sound effects created by a cell phone.
Some parents are demanding that harsher punishment be handed out. Melinda Bean, whose child attends Marshall high said; “Honestly I have run out of words to describe how angry I am and how shocked I am that they’re still in school today.”
Controversial acts have seemed to haunt the country since the election.
• A 15-year-old Maryland boy wearing a Trump “Make America Great Again” hat was reportedly beaten by a group of high school students.
• Last week, a California high school student was also attacked after she expressed her support for Trump, in an attack captured on cellphone video.

Per Foxnews: “Experts in child development and psychology say that this type of bullying has occurred in the past, this year it has taken on a more ominous tone and been seen a greater scale given how divisive the presidential campaign season was.”
As a country, we can a put a stop to this nonsense by taking a stand together. We must recognize the wrong and educate those who act out of ignorance.
