Is This Happening? These 40 Electoral College Members Determine the Presidency…
Currently Trump sits at 306 Electoral College votes, he only needs 270 to take the White House.
40 members of the Electoral College are now asking for an intel briefing on Russia’s interference (if any) on the election.
If the intel causes these 40 to change their votes, Trump would not have the ECV needed to be President (269).
From The Hill:
Forty members of the Electoral College on Tuesday signed a letter demanding an intelligence briefing on Russian interference in the election ahead of their Dec. 19 vote.
Ten electors originally signed the letter when it was published Monday, and 30 more have since added their names.
The open letter — led by Christine Pelosi, the daughter of House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) — urged Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to give a detailed briefing on President-elect Donald Trump‘s ties to Russia.
“We further require a briefing on all investigative findings, as these matters directly impact the core factors in our deliberations of whether Mr. Trump is fit to serve as President of the United States,” the letter read.
Clinton campaign applauded the effort Monday, saying it had repeatedly warned about Russian interference aimed at swaying the election in Trump’s favor.
The concern is, Russia’s Interference in an American Election, I get that but I have a few questions if you don’t mind.
Did Russia cause the catastrophe in Benghazi?
Did Russia destroy 33 thousand emails?
Did Russia force Hillary to support causes that voters disagreed with?
Did Russia make Hillary decide to run on the same platform as Obama when America was looking for change?
Did Russia manipulate the ballot (software or paper)?
What would the outcome of a “new” election be? What? Hillary wins by default? I don’t think so. The facts are out there, you can’t undo it.
Why is it so hard to believe that Hillary Clinton didn’t win simply because she’s not who the American people wanted as their next President?
The truth is, we will never know exactly why a person votes the way they do. We’ll never know what determines trust or distrust in a candidate.
I know individuals who dislike others all because of a basketball team they support or the type of car they drive. And guess what? They’re entitled to their opinion (or vote) regardless of what you or I think.
Look, when you lose the Presidency of the United States of America, you’re going to have questions and you’re going to put blame on anything that will take it.
The results of this election took place way before November 9th 2016. My vote is my vote, you don’t have the right to tell me that someone or something “influenced” me when you’re only speculating.
